Benjamin Kohn a.k.a. DJ Kobe is a native of Burlingame, California and graduated from Serra High School in 1994. After graduation, Kobe joined the U.S. Army where he trained as a medic from 1994-2006. After his travels with the Army, Kobe eventually found his way to Seattle, Washington where he embarked on his new career as a nightclub disc jockey in the Puget Sound Area. Kobe’s outgoing personality and microphone presence earned him numerous gigs at various bar and grill establishments, where he was required to entertain and engage the crowd during happy hour and beyond. In addition to club appearances, he also hosted various off-site promotions for Budweiser, Coors, Miller Brewing Company, and Safeway. With several years of MC experience under his belt, he later moved to Newport Beach, California where he performed at wedding receptions aboard the cruise liner, “ The Spirit of Newport.” Eventually, he returned to his home in the Bay Area and joined the staff of DJ’s AND MC’s in 2003. Kobe’s high energy outgoing style has made him the perfect interactive MC for all occasions. He continually works on improving his approach to engaging audiences with games and activities for all ages. A specialist in Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and Karaoke events, DJ Kobe is the perfect complement to any event requiring an interactive personality. Kimmie enjoys sharing her talent and passion for dancing with everyone and group dances are her specialty! Kim’s formal dance training background includes Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Africa-Haitian, Cha-Cha, and Tap dancing! In addition, she has performed at numerous “live” shows throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2004, she joined our staff as our Head Dance Instructor! Kim enjoys instructing and performing dances such as The Hustle, The Electric Slide, The Cha Cha Slide, and many others, in order to get everyone involved and having fun.
